● The ENTIRE hull, superstructure and seating of all boats must be made entirely of corrugated cardboard and sealed with duct tape, caulk, glue, latex paint, or varnish. NO reinforced cardboard tubes, only broken-down cardboard boxes. Only corrugated cardboard is allowed; any thickness is permitted. Paper towel rolls, etc., are not corrugated, but may be used for decorative purposes.
○ The ‘hull’ is the portion of your boat that rides both in and on top of the water. The boat hull does not include any masts, sails, or rigging.

● The hull may not be wrapped in any plastic duct tape, shrink wrap or anything else.
● Your boat must be free of anything sharp or pointy objects.
● The boat’s passenger area must not be enclosed above the occupant’s shoulders to interfere with escape should the vessel begin to sink
● Boats must be completely enclosed or permit the crew to remain fully on top of the vessel (You are not permitted to have dangling extremities
● Boat design is left to the builders. Let your imagination take over; make your boat look like a race car, flying saucer, dragon, etc. as long as the decoration does not aid in the floatation.
